​Bogotá D.C., diciembre 27 de 2021. El pasado 10 de diciembre de 2021 el Grupo de Trabajo de Soborno Transnacional de la Organización para el Desarrollo Económico- OCDE, aprobó el reporte de seguimiento de dos años tras la evaluación de la Fase 3 de Colombia, realizada en diciembre de 2019, en materia de implementación de la convención para combatir el cohecho de servidores públicos extranjeros en transacciones comerciales (la "Convención"). De 34 recomendaciones realizadas en la Fase 3 de la evaluación de Colombia en 2019, el grupo de trabajo concluyó que 12 fueron totalmente implementadas, 13 parcialmente implementadas y 9 no fueron implementadas.

WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated members of a Brazil-based network of al-Qa’ida-affiliated individuals and their companies for providing support to the terrorist group. Today’s action targets three individuals and two entities, including al-Qa’ida operative in Brazil Haytham Ahmad Shukri Ahmad Al-Maghrabi (Al-Maghrabi), as Specially Designated Global Terrorists pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 13224, as amended.

Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is issuing a Fact Sheet on the, "Provision of Humanitarian Assistance to Afghanistan and Support for the Afghan People" to emphasize that U.S. sanctions on the Taliban and the Haqqani Network do not stand in the way of assistance for or personal remittances to Afghanistan. OFAC has issued Afghanistan-related Counter Terrorism General License 17 "Authorizing Official Business of the United States Government," General License 18 "Authorizing Official Activities of Certain International Organizations and Other International Entities," and General License 19 "Authorizing Certain Transactions in Support of Nongovernmental Organizations’ Activities in Afghanistan." OFAC has also published new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) 950, 951, 952, 953, 954, 955 and amended FAQs 928, 929 and 931.
