Today, the President issued a new Executive Order (E.O.) “Imposing Sanctions with Respect to Iran.” This Executive order imposes sanctions on Iran’s Supreme Leader’s Office (SLO); and targets persons appointed to certain official or other positions by the Supreme Leader and/or his office.

The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) took action today against eight senior commanders of Navy, Aerospace, and Ground Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). These commanders sit atop a bureaucracy that supervises the IRGC’s malicious regional activities, including its provocative ballistic missile program, harassment and sabotage of commercial vessels in international waters, and its destabilizing presence in Syria.

Los gobiernos de Colombia y Estados Unidos suscribieron este viernes en Bogotá un convenio de cooperación internacional sobre gestión de activos incautados al crimen organizado y al narcotráfico, informaron fuentes oficiales.

"Con este proyecto lo que queremos lograr es ayudar en el proceso legal necesario, para beneficiar a los organismos del Estado enfocándonos principalmente en las instituciones de seguridad pública, de justicia y Fiscalía", dijo el embajador de Estado Unidos en Colombia, Kevin Whitaker, citado en un comunicado de su despacho.

FATF President Marshall Billingslea of the United States, chaired the third and last Plenary meeting under the U.S. Presidency in Orlando on 19-21 June 2019.

During this Plenary, delegates celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the FATF. In recent years, the international community is following the FATF’s work increasingly closely. Recent G20 statements and the United Nations Security Council resolutions recognise the FATF’s important role in protecting the integrity of the financial system. Last month’s FATF Ministerial meeting resulted in a new, open-ended mandate, and greater Ministerial involvement in the work of the FATF, recognising the substantial achievement of the FATF over three decades. This Plenary meeting was the first under the FATF’s new mandate.

La justicia española elevó la condena para 'La Manada' a 15 años de cárcel luego de que se recalificara su caso por un deleito de violación en contra de una joven.

De acuerdo a lo señalado por el Tribunal Supremo, lo ocurrido en 2016, en medio de la fiesta de San Fermín, fue una violación y no un abuso tal como lo había sentenciado un primer fallo judicial.
